SMILE Saheli was an annual program by SMILE that empowered women through education and creative expression from 2010-2015. The programme organised 36 groups, each consisting of 100 women, initially engaging around 4,000 women in Pune. These groups convened monthly for two-hour sessions. The first hour is dedicated to introducing a topic of the month, while the second hour is focused on crafting activities.

For many women, this program provides their first experience with various artistic endeavours, such as tie-dye, diya painting, and card making. Moreover, numerous women have emerged as leaders within their groups, gaining proficiency in topics like legal issues and guiding their communities.
